Case study · AI-assisted creative production

The cybersecurity series.

Six promotional films for a technology solutions and managed IT services provider. One visual world, six different stories.

The brief

Create a polished promotional video series without relying on a conventional production model. Six videos, one series, one recognizable brand.

The idea

Humour up front, a serious point underneath. Each video takes one business risk and gives it an everyday visual metaphor: a goldfish and a baited hook for phishing, an office move for a cloud migration. One risk per video, a short running time, a clear call to action at the end.

The approach

Set the series rules before the first script: the look, the tone, the length, the ending. With the rules fixed, the creative effort goes into the idea. Each topic gets a fresh metaphor and its own title, from Hackers Never Hibernate to Great IT Sticks to the Script.

The production

Concept development, scriptwriting, visual development, character and environment generation, animation, editing, sound, iteration. Clips generated from the same style and character references so every scene belongs to the series. Cut for consistent pacing and a matching close.

My role

I directed the production. I wrote the scripts, developed the visual language, generated the footage, and edited every video. The story, pacing, visual language, sequencing and final edit were human-directed.

The technology

AI-assisted throughout: generation for footage, AI voice for narration, human editing for the final cut. The technology expanded the production possibilities. It did not make the creative decisions.

The result

Six finished films with a consistent 3D animated look, each recognizable as part of the set, each with its own story. A practical demonstration that AI doesn’t remove the creative director. It changes what the creative director can direct.

Case study · Training video

Complex information, clearly explained.

The ELIZA Effect: a two-part AI training series. Proof that video can explain difficult subjects, not just promote or entertain.

The brief

Explain a subtle, important idea about working with AI: why good prompts still produce bad results, and how human habits quietly break AI collaboration.

The idea

Take an abstract concept and make it concrete. Structure the explanation like a story: the phenomenon, why it happens, what to do about it.

The approach

Script first, visuals second. The structure carries the explanation; the visuals keep it watchable. Every visual choice serves comprehension.

The production

Written, structured, produced and edited end to end. Pacing designed for understanding, not just engagement.

My role

I wrote the scripts, designed the structure, directed the visual explanation, and edited both parts.

The technology

AI-assisted production for footage and voice; human direction for story, structure and edit.

The result

Two training films that make a complex subject clear. Storytelling, script, structure, visual explanation, editing, production, audience understanding, all working together.
